All courses approved by the Mass. State Police that fulfill
the requirements for a basic firearms safety certificate
as required by
MGL Chap. 140 § 131P(a)
must include a summary of Massachusetts and Federal laws.
We will cover:
- Getting your LTC
- Prohibited places
- Buying a gun
- Selling a gun
- Safe storage requirements
- Transportation requirements
- Massachusetts’ “Assault Weapon” ban
- Restrictions on where you can shoot
- Other topics as appropriate
